Self-initiated project in response to the invitation for an artist-in-residence program at the metal casting workshops of Make Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Hooks is a material and form study around the theme of the hook, the clasp and the fastener. It resulted in graphical patterns as well as three-dimensional parts for closing bags in surprising ways. All the metal and plastic parts have been hand casted during the residency.
